Before you jump to Cheesy Potatoes Again recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about The Simple Ways to Be Healthy.

We all know that, in order to really be healthy, nutritious and balanced meal plans are important as are good amounts of exercise. Sadly, there isn’t always enough time or energy for us to really do the things we need to do. Going to the gym isn’t something people decide to do when they get off from work. A juicy, grease laden burger is usually our food of choice and not a crunchy green salad (unless we are vegetarians). You should be pleased to learn that getting healthy doesn’t always have to be super difficult. With practice you can get all of the nutritional requirements and the physical exercise that you need. Here are some tips to be as healthy as possible.

Run the stairs. Rather than using an elevator, take the stairs to the floor you live or work on. Obviously this isn’t as plausible if you work on the 25th floor of a high rise, but if you work on the fourth, climbing the stairs is a great way to get some exercise in. Even if your office or home is on one of the top floors, you can decide to get off of the elevator early and take the stairs the rest of the way. So many people pick the elevator over hiking even a single flight of stairs. Even if you only have just one flight to climb, climbing along it during the day is a great way to get additional exercise.

There are a lot of things that contribute to your getting healthy. Not all of them require fancy gym memberships or restricted diets. It is the little things you choose each day that really help you with weight loss and becoming healthy. Being smart about the decisions you make each day is a start. Getting as much physical exercise as you possibly can is another factor. The numbers on the scale aren’t the only indication of your healthfulness. You need to make your body as strong as possible.

We hope you got insight from reading it, now let’s go back to cheesy potatoes again recipe. You can have cheesy potatoes again using 7 ingredients and 11 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Cheesy Potatoes Again:
  1. You need 5 medium potatoes
  2. Use 1 medium onion
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup Hellman's mayo
  4. Take 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
  5. Use 1 cup cheddar (or your cheese of choice)
  6. Use 1 tbsp. dried parsley
  7. Provide Salt and pepper
Instructions to make Cheesy Potatoes Again:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Chop potatoes into small cubes. Add to a large bowl.
  3. Finely chop onion (and fresh parsley if using that instead of dried parsley).
  4. Add onions and ranch dressing packet to potatoes, mix well.
  5. Add mayo, cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add mixture to a well oiled covered, vented casserole dish (I like using an iron skillet and covered it with vented foil). It must be vented or it will come out too wet!
  7. Bake 45 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake 10-15 more minutes.
  9. Let sit for 5 minutes and serve!
  10. Many variations are possible. Replace the mayo with sour cream. Use crumbled blue cheese instead of cheddar. Add bacon bits or even jalapenos or green peppers. Top with scallions. Try different ingredients but keep it simple. I didn't use butter in this recipe because it makes it too oily. Don't let the mayo fool you if you're not a fan of it. It's a useful and flavorful ingredient for many recipes. Use frozen potatoes if you wish and always have a bag in the freezer for a quick fix.
  11. If you use ready made ranch dressing, leave out the mayo or it will be too oily. Try White Vermont Cheddar or even add Gruyere for a distinctive flavor.
